On a vacation celebrating their second anniversary of their first date, Jana and Tom went to relax on Orcas Island. They stayed at a cozy bed and breakfast (the Anchorage Inn) and enjoyed a hot tub on the beach, massages at a nearby spa, and a mean game of Scrabble. Jana finished with the word 'Arr', but curiously still lost the game!

Then on November 11th they went for a drive and a hike up to the top of Mt Constitution, the highest point in the San Juans. Standing together amongst the clouds (and fog) Tom professed the following:

I've never been happier than when you and I are together.

You are the Clark to my Lewis,
The Lotus to my Sutra.

You make me happy, you comfort me when I am sad. You inspire me, and you make me proud.

I would love to spend the rest of my life doing the same for you.

Jana, will you marry me?

She enthusiastically answered in the affirmative. :-)
